Methanol Manufacturing
Manufacture of methanol, predominantly by steam reforming of natural gas to synthesis gas and catalytic conversion, or by coal gasification. Kept separate from ammonia and ethylene manufacturing because methanol is sold both as a chemical feedstock and as a marine fuel, and its abatement instruments are not those of either neighbour.
