EMI › DecarbNexus Emissions Ontology

Links a sector to the emission sources that are material to its footprint — its Scope 1 sources plus the Scope 2 sources behind its purchased energy. Hand-curated: an expert judgement about materiality, never derived. This is the traversal path the instrument screener uses to widen a sector filter to source-level instrument tags. Objects must be concepts in the dnt-emi-src: scheme.

On instrument types, use dno-int-p:addressesEmissionSource instead — this property is now sector-scoped.

Property	Value
scopeNote	Runs the opposite way to dno-fnd-p:inSector, and means something different. GridElectricity inSector ElectricPower says where the emission physically occurs; SteelManufacturing hasEmissionSource GridElectricity says whose footprint it burdens. A source has one inSector but can be material to many sectors.
