Fluorinated Gases
Releases of synthetic fluorinated greenhouse gases — HFCs, PFCs, and SF6 — from products that contain them as working fluids or insulants: refrigerators, air conditioners, heat pumps, and high-voltage electrical switchgear. Emissions occur through leakage during operation, servicing, and end-of-life disposal. Source domain: operating equipment containing F-gases. Corresponds to IPCC Sector 2.F.
